Margaret River is lucky to play host to Round 1 of the Western Australian Gravity Enduro race. Described as the “racing for everyone”… Gravity Enduro is a racing format everyone can enjoy – from the elite to the weekend warriors to the first timers.
For those that fall into one of these categories, or anywhere in between registrations close in just over 5 days! For those that don’t… well we NEED you!
To raise some funds for the club we have been asked to provide 8 volunteers to work as marshals for the day and assisting pulling bunting down at the end of the day.
MRORCA has also taken on the task of feeding all competitors… the amazing Susie Kyme has offered herself as head chef but needs at least 3 volunteers to ensure everyone gets fed in a timely manner!
We have also been offered to have a MRORCA tent at the event which is a great opportunity to sell some of our merchandise and encourage those loving our trails to sign up as a member and find out what’s happening at MRORCA. It would be great to have some passionate MRORCA members to man this tent… this will also be a place members can get together and hang out before, during and after the race!
Race day is next Sunday, 25 February… so what we need…
8 marshalls – Required from around 8/9am to around 2pm
3 Assistant chefs – Required from around midday to 2/3pm
2 MRORCA spruikers – Required from 9am to 2pm
