The Department of Transport is facilitating the development of new bike plans for a number of local governments in the South West region including Busselton, Augusta-Margaret River and Nannup. The plans intend to set out a range of aspirational, long-term cycling routes for development over the next three decades.

A series of informal drop-in sessions are being held to allow the community to voice any ideas they have for improving cycling in the South West.

The sessions are open to people of all ages and experience levels. Sessions will be conducted over three days (23 – 25 May) at the following locations:

Tuesday 23 May – Nannup
Location: Shire of Nannup Council Office (15 Adam Street, Nannup)
Session 1: 3:30pm – 6:30pm

Wednesday 24 May – Margaret River
Location: Shire of Augusta-Margaret River Council Office (41 Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River)
Session 1: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Session 2: 5:30pm – 7:30pm (access via west of building)

Thursday 25 May – Busselton
Location: Busselton Community Garden (Corner of Strelly Street & Roe Terrace, Busselton)
Session 1: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Session 2: 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Participants can attend whichever session is most convenient.
