3 June 2017 – Dunsborough Country Club
COMPETITIVE and FUN EVENTS and SKILLS CLINICS
Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to compete and learn in a fun environment, no matter what skill level or age you are!
Dual Slalom Showdown – is an off-road mountain bike time trial testing the speed and skill for riders of all ages and skill levels. The course is a 1km descent down WA’s only purpose built dual slalom track with loads of berms, bumps and humps providing challenging fun for the both novice and elite riders alike. Each participant has three attempts to complete the 1km course in the fastest possible time.
Kids MTB Challenge Race – will be a specially designed course for the under 10’s and 13’s, with the focus on participation rather than who’s winning. Instructors will be there to give race day encouragement, ensuring everyone is prepared to safely tackle the track.
MTB Beginner Coaching – for those who just want to get started or lift their base skills up a notch or two we’ll have a range of qualified coaches to show you tips and tricks – No Dog is Too Old!. The circuit will be simple and made up of bollards and bunting with some small ramps for maximum entertainment.
4 June 2017 – Dunsborough Country Club
MTB Endurance race (WA XC04) a challenging 1-1.5 hour race for experienced riders and racers around the Dunsborough MTB Skills Development Park.
Jump Competition – a competition for only the elite riders as a demonstration of their top line skills. An opportunity to bring what they’ve been practicing in private and use it to get the crowd to their feet.

5 June 2017 – Margaret River (Compartment 10 and Pines)
XCO State Series Round 5 – The WA Cross Country State Series consists of seven races organised by various WA mountain bike clubs and promoters. Margaret River Off Road Cycling Association are hosting Round 5. The series caters for all ages and abilities – from WA’s elite cycling fraternity through to the weekend warriors who are keen to race their mates and test their skills on a state level course. Coffee and burgers will be onsite for your after-race enjoyment.
